KAAD Scholarship 2025-2026 | Fully Funded in Germany
Are you a student from a developing country dreaming of pursuing postgraduate studies in Germany? The Catholic Academic Exchange Service (KAAD) is offering fully funded scholarships for Master’s, PhD, and Postdoctoral programs at German universities!
π Scholarship Programme 1
KAAD organizes its scholarship activities through different programmes, and Programme 1 is one of the main pathways designed for international applicants.
This programme mainly includes:
- Invitation Programme:
This option is developed in collaboration with KAAD partner countries. It is intended for graduates and professionals with relevant work experience. Selected candidates are invited to Germany to pursue postgraduate studies or short-term research. - In-Country Programme (Masterβs Level):
This supports students who wish to complete their Masterβs degree within their own country. It is currently available in selected institutions across countries such as Ethiopia, Ghana, Guatemala, Jordan, Kenya, Lebanon, Peru, and Zimbabwe. - Third-Country Programme (Masterβs Level):
In this option, students study in a country other than their home country. For example, students from Myanmar may study in Thailand. This programme is also extended to applicants from other regions, especially in special cases such as Syrian refugees studying in Lebanon or Jordan.
πScholarship Programme 2
Scholarship Programme 2 supports students from countries of the Global South who are already studying for their PhD or Master’s degree in Germany. The Catholic University Chaplaincies have the right to propose suitable applicants.
